InsuranceSherpa provides public editorial content. It has no account registration, quote application, lead form or chat service. Do not enter policy numbers, medical histories or other sensitive information in search.

Page requests and hosting

When the site is served through Cloudflare, requests include technical information such as an IP address, browser details and requested URL. Hosting infrastructure processes that information to deliver pages, protect the service and diagnose errors. Provider retention depends on its service configuration.

Search and location

The search dialog filters article information already in your page. It does not send the text you type to a search or AI provider. The separate search page can include your query in its URL; that URL is visible to the hosting service and your browser history. Content is selected by its URL, not by a saved location. The optional geographic endpoint can read hosting-provided country information and returns a supported market without setting a cookie; these pages do not request it.

Cookies and analytics

We save your cookie choice. Optional Google Analytics runs only if configured and permitted by your analytics choice. Change that choice using Cookie settings in the footer. The cookie policy describes the categories.

External sources

Links to regulators and other sources take you to independent websites. Their privacy notices apply to your use of those services. We do not send a search query or insurance application when you follow a source link.

Your controls

You can reject optional cookies, clear site storage using your browser settings and read the guides without signing up. A later change that adds collection of contact or application data will require an updated notice.
